Charisse Lessord, LVTCharisse is our licensed Veterinary Technician.  She received her education at Blue Ridge Community College in Virginia.  She worked 12 years in a general veterinary practice and 5 years in an internal medicine referral practice before coming to work with Veterinary Neurology.  Charisse joined Veterinary Neurology, Neurosurgery & Internal Medicine in July, 2003. 

Charisse and her husband Steve have 4 children; Rachel 17 yrs, Katherine 14 yrs, Michael 6 yrs and baby Joseph was born in June 2007.  She has two beagles Sweetpea & Daisy.


Laurie Westerfield, Office ManagerLaurie Westerfield is our office manager.  Laurie has been with Veterinary Neurology since November, 2002.  She worked in the Hospitality/Customer Service industry for 16 years before coming to Veterinary Neurology.

Laurie has 2 children; Brandi 14 yrs and Amy 12 yrs.  She also has two dogs Stormy & Starla plus four cats Bandit, Olivia, Pebbles & BamBam..
