Dr. Anne E. Katherman:
Is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine - Speciality of Neurology. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Ohio State University in 1976, and completed a one-year internship at the University of Minnesota, where she earned a Masters degree in Veterinary Medicine. She received her training in Neurology, Neurosurgery and Internal Medicine during a three-year residency at Purdue and Auburn Universities. Dr. Katherman has practiced Veterinary Neurology and Neurosurgery in the Tidewater area since 1988.
One of approximately one hundred fifty board certified veterinary neurologists in the United States, Canada and Europe, Dr. Anne Katherman has specialized in Neurology and Neurosurgery for thirty years. She strives to stay current with regard to new neurosurgical techniques and theories in order to provide individualized optimum treatment for each patient.
Dr Katherman enjoys coaching soccer, fly fishing, gardening, baking and reading. She has a son and 3 cats.
